Kathryn is a litigation associate at Boardman Clark where she practices primarily in insurance defense, municipal, real estate, and construction law. Kathryn has represented clients’ interests at all stages of litigation including dispositive motion practice, mediation, jury trial, and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Boardman and Clark, Kathryn spent five years in nonprofit management at a major domestic nonprofit. Kathryn employs her unique background in strategy development and project management to effectively and efficiently navigate civil disputes for her clients. Kathryn is also dedicated to pro bono work, which allows her to gain valuable hands-on trial experience and to better assist individuals and businesses with a wide range of litigation matters.

  • Represented municipality in state jury trial with full verdict in favor of municipality.
  • Defended homeowner in property boundary and adverse possession dispute and obtained full judgment in favor of client.
  • Successfully defended municipality against negligence claims in multiple small claims trials, resulting in dismissal of case.
  • Successfully defended municipality against claim for attorney's fees.
  • Authored several successful summary judgment briefs in insurance merits and coverage cases resulting in dismissal of claims.
  • Co-authored appellant brief and authored reply brief before Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in dealership dispute.
  • Authored respondent brief before Wisconsin Circuit Court of Appeals in insurance coverage dispute.
  • During law school, Kathryn gained trial experience representing individuals in a three-day jury trial in a property damage case.
