Attorney Sutherland’s practice includes comprehensive legal representation and guidance to businesses and business owners. Frank has significant experience guiding clients through transactions involving the purchase and sale of businesses through mergers and acquisitions, and through other processes associated with the creation and transfer of ownership rights in privately-held business entities. Due to his experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions, Attorney Sutherland has, in more recent years, had opportunities to serve in the role of expert witness when disputes arise out of the sale and purchase of businesses. Frank also provides counsel to businesses and individuals in connection with real estate and other contractual matters.

Attorney Sutherland’s practice also includes significant experience in the aircraft industry where he has negotiated and drafted agreements for the purchase and sale of commercial aircraft and engines in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In these transactions as well as others, Frank strives to provide a practical, problem-solving approach based upon a thorough understanding of the business risks and legal issues involved in a given transaction.
