Jennifer Johnson Recognized in 40 Under 40 Class of 2025

Boardman Clark congratulates Attorney Jennifer Johnson on being chosen as a member of the In Business Magazine 40 Under 40 class of 2025.

In Business chooses 40 individuals each year that they find to be “some of the most successful and civic-minded young professionals under the age of 40 in the Greater Madison area.” Jennifer was selected based on her leadership and outstanding contributions to the community.

At Boardman Clark, Jennifer is an Immigration Law and Family Law attorney. In her family law practice, she represents clients in various litigation and mediation cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and Hague Convention cases. In her immigration law practice, she focuses extensively on humanitarian-based petitions.

We are proud of the work Jennifer does; she always goes above and beyond in assisting her clients, and is dedicated to the community organizations she's involved with.

New Law Requires Notice to Parents Upon Report of Sexual Misconduct By School Staff Members

On December 9, 2025, Governor Evers signed Assembly Bill 74, now 2025 Wisconsin Act 57 (Act 57). Under the new subsection (Wis. Stat. s. 118.07(6)), each school board, governing body of a private school, and operator of a charter school (collectively “school”) must notify the parent or guardian of a pupil in certain instances when the school receives a report of sexual misconduct by a staff member against a pupil.
