Job Overview

The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing the intake and conflict check process, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately collected and documented to ensure accuracy in our database and billing. 

Responsibilities

  • Accurately document client information and case details in the firm’s database.
  • Responsible for the electronic file opening process for all matters throughout the firm. This process includes ensuring proper information is entered into our database and conflict checks are completed timely and accurately. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate information for each client and matter. 
  • Familiar with the process of storing and retrieving physical files to serve as backup. 
  • Provide administrative assistance and backup to the Office Services team. 
  • Provide backup to Receptionist on a regular basis for breaks and absences. 

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma and/​or Associate Degree

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency using computer software and databases.
  • Additional education or certification in legal studies is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a legal setting or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
