Job Overview

Our busy law firm is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Office Assistant. This position works with the public, clients and people from throughout the firm. If you enjoy working with people, like variety in your work, and are a detail-oriented problem solver, this position would be a great fit for you. We are looking for someone with general office equipment knowledge, basic computer knowledge, good organizational skills, ability to work well independently and as a team, ability to work with little supervision and exercise good judgment.


  • Reception duties
  • Route inter-office mail
  • Pick up mail from Post Office
  • Scan all mail
  • Postmark all outgoing mail
  • Federal Express and UPS in-house scanning and delivery
  • Send outgoing faxes and electronic delivery of incoming faxes
  • Stock all workrooms with the appropriate supplies and maintain all workrooms
  • Stock and maintain kitchen/​break areas
  • Stock copy machines and printers with appropriate types of paper or envelope
  • Order basic office and kitchen supplies, including soda and coffee products


  • Education: High School diploma and/​or Associate Degree
  • Skills: Organization, Communication and Adaptiveness
  • Personal characteristics: Reliable, Detail oriented, Professional, Collaborative, Proactive
  • Starting Salary: $34,320
