Job Overview

Our busy law firm is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist for its Madison, WI office. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for providing support to our accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing duties.


  • Process and post payments (checks, wires, ACH, and credit card)
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Complete weekly check run and print daily quick checks
  • Process refunds
  • Field calls re: invoices, change of address, balances, etc.
  • Make collection calls
  • Cross train in billing

  • Associate Degree in Accounting preferred
  • Experience with Aderant software preferred
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet all assigned deadlines

Salary Range: $22.00 to $24.50
