Diversity Clerkship Program
Boardman Clark participates annually in the Wisconsin State Bar's Diversity Clerkship Program. The program, which is available to first-year Marquette University Law School and University of Wisconsin Law School students with diverse backgrounds, matches students with employment opportunities for private law firms, corporate legal departments, and governmental agencies.
Students in the program have come from as far away as China, Puerto Rico and Jamaica, as well as from urban centers like Milwaukee, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Now in its 27th year, the program has placed nearly 500 students into paid internships. Boardman Clark has participated in the program since its inception in 1993.
Students matched with Boardman Clark join the firm's full Summer Clerkship Program, which provides a look into the life of an attorney with one of the most prominent law firms in Madison. Boardman Clark's program provides clerks with a unique level of exposure to meaningful client work and job-related activities--not to mention abundant opportunities for fun and networking.
