Attorney Sutherland’s practice includes work with businesses, individuals, and public institutions. He provides comprehensive legal representation and guidance to businesses and business owners while also providing counsel in connection with real estate and estate planning matters. Attorney Sutherland guides clients through transactions involving the purchase, sale and lease of significant assets through mergers and acquisitions, and through the processes associated with the creation and transfer of ownership rights in privately-held businesses.  Frank has also served as counsel in cases at the trial and appellate court levels, representing both private and public entities in contract disputes, commercial litigation, and other controversies arising under both state and federal law.

Attorney Sutherland’s business practice includes experience in the aircraft industry where he has had the opportunity to provide legal counsel in connection with the purchase and sale of commercial aircraft and engines.  He has participated in the negotiation and drafting of purchase agreements and related documents for the purchase of commercial aircraft and engines in the United States, Europe, and Asia.  In these transactions as well as others, Mr. Sutherland strives to provide a practical, problem-solving approach based upon a thorough understanding of the business risks and legal issues involved in a given deal.
